The 4 Tips on How To Manage Your Anger .. Or PoopSenders To Your Rescue?

Filed Under (Laughter, Positive thinking) by CarolOon on 27-08-2008

What do you do when you are angry?  Sometime, it could be your loved ones, your collegues or that stupid boss that made you very angry …

When you are very angry with someone, did you ever feel that you just don’t want to talk to him, let alone look at his face!

You just want to walk away … Or do something, anything!   Will getting out of his sight help?  As the sayings goes “Out of sight, out of mind?”

Here are a few tips you can try to manage your anger :

1)  Go for a brisk walk if you can.  Do something that gets your mind off the situation.  So, if you can do a physcial activity, that will be great.  It’s a great outlet.  Go for a walk, swim, go to the gym, etc.

2)  Re-focus on other things.  Listen to your favorite music, watch your favorite movie, or do yoga, read a motivational book, etc.  Just don’t focus on that situation.  Your mind can only think of one thing at a time.  Think positive stuff.

3)  Find a blank sheet of paper and write down your frustrations, unhappiness, disappointing emotions …  Then, after your ”outlet” of emotions, anger, discouragement on paper, remember to throw this paper away …

If above tips still doesn’t help, you may need this last resort …

4) Send PoopSenders a gift  -  If you are still angry even after practising the above, this may be your last resort or should I call it a sweet revenge?

Go to below website and you will know what I mean …  As for me, I will not be able to bring myself to do this because I am too nice …  :)

Well, for you it may be your last resort and the only way for sweet revenge?
The PoopSenders -  The Ultimate Great Gag Gift - Is it time to send someone a package of poop?

When I saw this website, I can’t help laughing. :)

The 6 Tips - How To Stay “Cool” and Not Quit Your Online Home Business

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, Monetize Yr Blog, Start A New Blog, affiliate secrets, internet marketing, make money online) by CarolOon on 25-08-2008

Do you know that over 95% of those that start up their own online home business fail miserably and they don’t even know why ?  Have you wondered why the percentage is so low? We shall take a look …

Below are the 6 important tips how you can easily remain “cool” and not quit your online home business.  By implementing these tips, it can definitely improve your chances of success!

1) Don’t Give up the Day Job Too Soon :

Many people frequently treat their online home business as a hobby, and then get a  rude shock when they finally realize that this month’s paycheck is not coming… You, for instance, might have heard from others that running an online business from home is a breeze, and that you will have a lot more spare time with your family. When reality strikes, you panic because your online income is not what you expected.

Do you know why?  It’s because you have not yet learned how to run your own business, let alone an online business and in certain aspects is more difficult to make a success of than running a franchise, for example, where all the marketing has been done for you, and all the raw materials supplied. Your mistake was in giving up the day job too soon.

The way to remain “cool” and survive in any online home business is to make your mistakes while you are still having your regular paychecks coming in to pay the bills… You can learn while you earn, and slowly but consistently build up your online business until you are confident that you can go full time with it and make enough money to pay all bills and outstandings without the paycheck. Then, that will be the time to give up the day job.

2) Attitude :

You must have the attitude that you are running a business. You probably will not survive if you treat your online home business as a hobby, because it is not. You will find yourself initially working longer hours, not less. Sure, you don’t have the road traffic to face every morning and evening, and can take time off whenever you feel like it, but use that extra time wisely … The harder and smarter you work, the more successful you will become.

3) Goals :

You must set yourself goals … If you have no goals, then you have no finishing post. It could be as simple as earning $100,000 a year in your second year, or doubling your sales figures each year. You have to set yourself a target to work towards, and then smaller monthly targets. You can break that down into weekly tasks needed to meet these targets, and then make sure that they are carried out. Studies have shown that people who start up online home businesses without any goals or targets generally fail!

4) Get a Website :

It’s amazing how many people try to run a home business without a website. It’s like trying to run a taxi business without a cab: you need either a lot of luck or a very unique way of selling your product to succeed without a website. So get one. The success of many online home businesses that manage to survive and stay “cool” the first year has been through running a good website, and using several income streams on their website.

5) Automate and Diversify :

You can get an excellent web hosting service for under $25 each month that provides you with all the tools you need to design a great site and run it, and your business, on autopilot. Once your business has been automated by good use of autoresponders, you can always diversify … If you get a web host that offers unlimited subdomains, you can buy new domain names and park them as subdomains on your main domain, and use them just like separate websites.  Once you have your second site on autopilot get a third and so on.

The key to to the success of many online entrepreneurs and home businesses are diversifications and multiple websites. Let’s say that your core business is on dog training, for example. Your main website could offer dog training advice, products, ebooks and so on.  Then your next site could cover the niche of dog foods, and your next information about dogs and competition: how to get your dog ready for Crufts and provide a diary of nationwide dog competitions. And so on ,,,

6) Streams of Income :

Also use as many streams of income on your website as possible: AdSense can bring in a regular monthly advertising income, and you could sell affiliate products that support, but do not compete with your core business. You can also start up an ezine and sell advertising once it becomes popular, that sort of thing …

Conclusion :

The way to stay ”cool” and survive with an online home business is to have goals, work out a schedule to meet them, and work hard to keep to your schedules. Take time to understand the internet and how it works, and identify all the ways that can be used to make money online using your core business and your website.

Above all, treat your business like a business and not a hobby, and leave the day job only when you have tested the water and are confident of success. These are the key pointers to internet success and “surviving” an online home business  …  Stay cool, ok? :)

Blogging for Profit: How to Make Money from Blogs

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, Atomic Blogging, BlogTradeSecrets, Blogging, Start A New Blog, make money online) by CarolOon on 20-08-2008

My article below is a bit lengthly but if you can take the time to read, I believe you will find some “gold” nuggets …

Do you know Blogging for profit is one of the most compelling reasons to operate a blog? If you know how to make money from blogs, then it can be a very good source of income. Most bloggers monetize their blogs with Google Adsense: allowing Google to place adverts on their blog in return for a small payment every time somebody clicks on an advert.

Do you know the drawback to that?  What happens when a visitor to YOUR blog clicks on ANOTHER’s advert?  Yes, you got it - they leave your blog and end up on the other person’s website. Google do not allow their adverts to be opened in a new window, so your visitors have gone.

Before we look at how to overcome that problem let’s have a look at blogs, and what benefits they offer you and your visitors.

What is that most people use the internet for?  No, it’s not to play games or listen to music; it’s actually to find information.  The vast majority of internet users are seeking information:  sports results, latest news, how clocks work, how to train dogs, cheapest prices for what they want to buy, how to run their own blogs and websites, how to make money from blogs and websites:  all information.

Blogs are ideal for that. Blogs not only provide content, but they also provide fresh content. They are constantly being updated with new content, unlike regular websites that tend to remain unchanged for lengthy periods of time. That is why search engines love blogs, and tend to list them higher than web pages. However, the main benefit of a blog to you is not how the search engines view it, but how your visitors see it.

Search Engines love blogs because:

1.  Readers feel catered for rather than just being regarded as potential customers.

2.  They have a more ‘human’ feel to them than regular websites.

3.  They can contribute by making comments

4.  If they want to keep up with your blog they can subscribe using an RSS feed:  make sure you provide them with one on your blog. If you don’t know how, your blog host will help you out.  It is very easy. Your readers can also easily unsubscribe, which makes them feel less ‘put upon’ or committed.

Blogs tend to attract more regular visitors than websites.  The vast majority of visitors to websites leave and never return, but blog visitors can return time and time again. There is a downside to that though: blog readers have less of an inclination to register with opt-in forms, likely because they know they are going to be visiting the blog in any case, so why fill in a form for information? You just have to make your promotions using your blog, and if you can get it right, then you will find that blogging for profit is easy.  It is actually easier to learn how to make money from blogs than from a website.

Not only that, but a regular blog visitor is of significantly higher quality than a website visitor. They comment on your blog, and how you can improve it.  They also suggest it to their favorite social bookmarking sites such as Digg, StumbleUpon and Del.icio.us, and talk about it on their social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook. You therefore get a lot of links back to your blog plus a great deal of credibility and new traffic.

So, back to Adsense and losing your visitors.  There are better ways than Adsense to make money from your blog. In using these, however, don’t get too blatantly mercenary. You can lose your readership if your blog becomes too commercial, but there are ways to overcome that. Here are some suggestions:

a)  Offer affiliate products that might interest your readers. The best way is to offer them a free product, and when they click to download it offer them an affiliate product as a back-end ‘One Time Offer’ before they download the free ebook or software.  You can get loads of free products to offer if you join a Private Label Resale site - Google it and find a whole load of products that you can rebrand as your own, and Clickbank offers the biggest selection of affiliate products online.

b)  Offer your own eBook, CD or DVD.  Make a video about how to change a car tire, spark plugs and other simple car maintenance tasks and sell it to women as ‘Essential Car Maintenance Tasks for Women’.  If your blog covers a specific niche do something similar relating to your niche.

c)  Carry out promotions for your products, or those of others (for a return of course!).

d)  Sprinkle a few text links around your blog, leading to products, reports, recommendations and so on, all relating to the theme of your blog. Write your own report and sell it for $5 - keep it cheap and they will think you are offering them a bargain.

So that’s how to make money from blogs.  Blogging for profit is a pastime rather than an occupation, and if you have a website or two, you can promote it from your blog.  That will not seem commercial to visitors - even those that dislike commercial blogs. Don’t send them to your sales or squeeze page, but to a good content page, at the end of which you offer a product that relates to your article or review.

There are many ways to make money from blogs - all it takes is a bit of imagination and ingenuity, and you will find blogging for profit a breeze.

So, what are you waiting for?  Go now and blog for profits! :)

Filed Under (LeadsLeap, Membership Site, make money online) by CarolOon on 18-08-2008

“If you were to start from scratch with NO list, NO JV partners in your niche, and all you have is $100 capital, what would you do to start making sales for your niche membership site within just 15 days?”

What an interesting question? How would you answer? Just $100 bucks? Too little? Not even enough for a candle-light dinner for two persons?

To find out how Mr Kenneth Koh, Managing Director of LeadsLeap replies this question, please read below …

This is Kenneth Koh’s reply :

Before I answer this question, let me state my assumption.

I’m assuming that you already have a niche membership site and you can make some modifications to your website to accommodate the marketing plan that I’m going to tell you.

Ready? Here we go……

If I have a niche membership site, with no list, no JV partner and only a hundred bucks……

1) I’ll go to Clickbank and see what kind of ebooks people are buying in my niche.
