Hey, today, I would like to share how to set-up a Google Adsense Account … I know most of us probably know how to set-up this Google Adsense account stuff.
However, I thought for the benefit of some of us who may just start up a new blog or site, and so may want to monetize their blog with Google Adsense PPC ads, so here it is …
How Do I Set-Up Or Start A Google Adsense Account?
1) Go to www.google.com/adsense
2) Click Sign-up button on top right hand corner. Make sure you have your email address and website’s url ready, and also the Payee’s name, that is, the name of person Google should pay the cheque to.
3) After sign-up with Google Adsense, you will receive an email from them. Confirm your intention to set-up Google Adsense in that email.
5) Once your account is approved, it’s time to set-up your Google Adsense account.
6) Login with your email address and password.
7) Go to “Adsense Setup” on top.
8). Select “Adsense For Content”, then go to “Ad Unit” (text and image ads)
9) Click “Continue”. Then go to “Format”, select your preferred size and fonts (that you want the ads to appear in your blog or website) in the drop down box.
10) Click “Preview This Adsense Unit” if you want to see what it looks like.
11) Then click “Continue” again.
12) Choose your channels if you prefer to have a detailed reporting about the performance of specific pages and ad units, etc. Otherwise, Ignore the next page (channels)
13) Then click “Continue” again
14) Click Submit and get your Google Adsense HTML code……
15) Your Google Adsense HTML code will appear on the next page….
16) When the Google Adsense code appears, copy and paste the HTML code onto your blog or website. Most likely, the Google Ads will appear on your blog or website within 10 minutes.
As you can see, I copy and paste my Google Adsense HTML code on the top left side of this blog post. So, it’s up to you, you may want to paste the HTML code on the desired area at your blog …
That’s it! Congratulations! You have just created your first Google Adsense account!
To Your Success
