I am not a fan of Michael Jackson, Truthfully, I didn’t even know he just passed his 50th birthday on 29th August 08. However, I had watched him couple of times on television some years ago.
Recently, I stumbled upon this website which features Michael Jackson, the King of Pop’s most thrilling moments 1 - 10 :
And I read the posts commented in the website. Most of them were good comments but there are also some bad comments …
So, what’s my point?
1) My point is : Who doesn’t make mistakes? As long as we are on earth, we will make mistakes, period. But, let’s remember to turn our mistakes around. Don’t make excuses or cover-up but own the mistakes if you have done it.
2) Have the faith to continue to love life and move on with our life …and turn our mistakes into precious lessons to be learnt. That is, don’t make the same mistakes again but turn our mistakes into creative opportunities!
I have this to say to Michael Jackson “Happy Belated Birthday! You are a gifted and creative person coupled with a kind soul. Make today the first day of the rest of your life …”
As Norman Vincent Peale says ”The person who has the philosophy of the new beginning is the person who wiill never continue to associate with his failures. Never hang around with your failures.
